Fingers Crossed Privacy Policy
Effective October 29, 2026
This privacy policy applies to the Fingers Crossed app for iPhone, iPad and Android (the "Application"), made by BossGo Games LLC ("we", "us"). The short version: we do not collect, sell or share your personal information. Fingers Crossed works offline, and everything it remembers stays on your device.
What information does the Application collect?
We collect nothing. The Application does not require an account or registration, and it does not include advertising, analytics, crash reporting or tracking. It does not connect to our servers. The one exception is on Android, described under In-app purchase below: Google's billing library sends Google basic diagnostic information.
Information that stays on your device
Your settings (such as sounds, haptics, how many players survive and the suspense level), the chooser you last played, which tutorials you've seen, the fish in your Fishpedia, each chooser's playful stats, and whether you've unlocked every chooser are stored only on your device. Deleting the Application deletes them.
Touches
The Application reads where fingers touch the screen so it can place each player and tell when a finger lifts. Touches are used only while you play and are not stored or sent anywhere.
In-app purchase
Fingers Crossed offers an optional one-time purchase that unlocks every chooser. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store, or by Google through Google Play. We do not receive your name, payment details or store account. The Application asks the store on your device whether the purchase has been made, and remembers the answer on your device so it keeps working offline. See Apple's privacy policy and Google's privacy policy for how they handle purchases.
On Android, purchases go through Google Play's billing library, which is part of the Application. While the Application runs, this library sends Google basic diagnostic information, such as whether billing requests succeeded, the app and library version, and your device model, Android version, language and region. Google uses it to keep purchases working. We do not receive this information.
Do third parties have access to my information?
No. We don't collect your information, so there is nothing for us to sell or share. Purchases are made with Apple or Google under their own terms, as described above.
Children
Fingers Crossed is a general-audience game that families can play together. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
Your choices
You can turn sounds and haptics off in the Application's settings. To remove everything the Application has stored, delete the Application. Your purchase stays with your App Store or Google Play account, and you can restore it from the Application's settings.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date above.
